The Fever

Over lunch I read Wallace Shawn's The Fever. I admire Shawn's career, but this monologue had me shaking my head. It's pretty off-putting to read the literary equivalent of a finger shaking in your face. Come on, Wally. I think you can do better.

The New York Times review and the TimesSquare.com review, which pretty much say what I'm thinking ... but more articulately.
