There are many memories that are not like that -- to bring them up is to tap a nerve, and it buzzes hard. It's really liberating, though, to hear you've say you've let go of the letting-go concept. I like that.

And babe - Where's my lollipop? (Okay, shut your dirty-ass mouth.)Allison Landahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17495894702405839968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6089443379205737326.post-3925376619702067312009-07-16T07:21:37.152-07:002009-07-16T07:21:37.152-07:00I think the lollipop is part of the process.I think the lollipop is part of the process.Happy Chandlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17558903281961021034noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6089443379205737326.post-3411821926075071192009-07-16T06:09:35.688-07:002009-07-16T06:09:35.688-07:00Just between you, me, and the lamppost?

The same quality of mind that makes it possible to hold onto the words that people speak, the way you felt at a particular time in your life, the small details of childhood, etc. also makes it possible to fully access the bad experiences you've had in life.

For me, thinking about the situation in those terms makes it a bit easier to deal with. The real blessing has been that I've been able to let go of the whole fucking hippy-ass concept of letting go of things, which let me be a bit more at ease with my own nature.Sean Cravenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13763869499494698057noreply@blogger.com
