L'Shana Tova

I'm not a very religious person, but the Jewish High Holidays are a special time for me. It's a time of reflection, a taking-stock. This will be the fourth year in a row that we attend Jewish Gateways' High Holiday Services, which is an important tradition for us.

I'm not sure that I have any specific vows so much as commitments I'd like to make to myself and to others. Less anger, more acceptance is definitely among those. I'm having a hard time thinking of other things at the moment. I'm sure it'll come to me.

There are goals as well, but I'm more interested in the commitments.
