Barbecue and lightning bugs

I have arrived, and am so glad to be here. Right now I'm sitting out on the balcony of my apartment listening to the crickets and watching the lightning bugs. Today started in Kansas City at Oklahoma Joe's Barbecue. Somewhere along the way I cried and laughed while seeing Adam off, along with pushing my groceries home in a shopping cart along the cobblestone streets. Here's a few images for now.

Similar to that email you sent: I try not to read too much about food if I'm not going to eat it. Howevah, I do envy you the Q.

Anyway, it's hot here right now, which personally has driven me to a far lighter beer than usual (but I wrote a bunch anyway - strong beer in this heat would not have led to productivity.)

Nebraska? Hey, that's a damn fine Springsteen song about a serial killer (based on the same guy the damn fine movie Badlands is based on - Charlie Starkweather.) Enjoy.

The Q was amazing. I think I may have to frequent Everett and Jones a bit more often upon my return.

Serial killers would proliferate much more in Nebraska were the weather better.

Ain't got nothing to say but soak it in and live it up.
