Presence

I am grateful for small fragments:
Cat's ears back, reacting to a yawn,
bright burst of lavender tapioca tea,
dirt under my fingernails,
revealing aged sparkly stickers and faded figurines,
soil absorbing yesterday's sorrows
to produce next week's seedlings.
