After a delicious colony dinner of chili, cornbread, rice, and salad, went to MacDowell Downtown to listen to Fritz Haeg give a presentation on Edible Estates and Animal Estates. Then a group of us went to Acqua for drinks. I had something called a Key Lime Martini, complete with graham-cracker crust on the rim.
I loved talking to my fellow colonists as well as David Macy, the MacDowell director. Just a relaxing and gorgeous late-summer night. Afterward I busted up the hill back to the colony. I was defiant, triumphant. No dogs are going to scare me tonight. Nothing will.
