The people (including Jimmy Carter) who are claiming Obama is taking flack for being a black man are not racists? Seems to me anyone who brings debate down to the level of ethnicity, and pretty much only ethnicity, is a racist.
Nope, you don't have to be a racist to see the crap Obama's taking as because he's a black man. We're not talking about anything remotely resembling debate here. Obama has been compared to Hitler, has been called a fascist (when asked why, one respondent replied "Because he's a fascist") and has been repeatedly attacked with hateful vitriol that doesn't seem to have any other basis except that Obama is a black man.
Pointing out racism is not racism. If you haven't heard or seen enough of the overtly racist shit that's been directed at Obama, let me know. I got links. They skip the word 'nigger,' but since they replace it with 'anti-Christ' I don't think they're upgrading.
Anyone who thinks that Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, or Al Gore would get nicer treatment because they are white is crazy. Do you not remember the Clinton years, where he was accused of among other things murdering Vince Foster? And he was accused of being the anti-Christ as well: http://www.wnd.com/index.php?pageId=8270
That depiction of Clinton as the anti-Christ occurred after he was president.
Um, if Hillary Clinton was black? Are you kidding me? That one's confusing. There would be a flip-flopping of people who hate her and love her, but only in certain demographics. The rest would continue to hate her.
John Edwards and Al Gore? Hey, biker dude, I'll leave it to you to look up how many black men have won major elected offices in those states. I suspect whatever they were doing would have been done in relative anonymity.

Well put, Rob, but I think I'll pass on the links.
Obama is proposing some radical shit and it brings out wingnuts. Are some of them racist? Sure. Is that all there is? Doubtful.
Anyway, I need to stop putting this topic out there because even I'm weary of it.

Enough with the aggressive tone. Take it to your own blog.
