MacDowell can be a beautiful bubble, and I need to burst it here and there. So I have a few adventures planned:
Tuesday, Sept. 15: Day trip to Kittery, ME, with wandering around Badger's Island, Portsmouth, NH, and some seafood a must.
Thursday, Sept. 17: My dad is coming to town. We're going to have dinner and explore the area.
Saturday, Sept. 19: See Joyce Maynard read at Toadstool Books.
Monday, Sept. 21-Tuesday, Sept. 22: Overnight in Burlington, VT.
There. That should do it.
